Oz-en-Oisans is a compact but lively ski village with all the necessary amenities within walking distance. You’ll find cozy restaurants, pizzerias, cafés, a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, an ESF ski school, and even childcare. You won’t need a car during your stay.
The village is part of the large Alpe d’Huez ski area, with modern gondolas and ski lifts connecting you to 250 km of slopes. For the true adventurers, there’s even Le Tunnel and La Sarenne – the longest black run in Europe!

📅 Seasons & Opening Times

The facilities in the village are open in winter (Dec-April) and summer (July-August). During the Alpe d’HuZes, the lifts are operating. In 2025, the Poutran lift will be closed for renovation during the summer. Outside the main season, it’s more quiet, but perfect for hiking and enjoying nature.
